Position: Floating Weekend Concierge

Experience: Must have at least two (2) years of recent concierge experience

Education: Previous property management training or certifications a plus; High School Diploma is required

Type: Full-time; Temp-to-hire

Pay Rate: $20/hour starting pay

Schedule: 4 hours on-call/standby availability; Weekends; Shifts: 5am to 9am, 1pm to 5pm, 9pm to 1am.

Location: Various luxury properties in Washington, D.C.

HireOne Staffing is seeking Floating Weekend Concierge to join our growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Greet customers & guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Handle customer complaints with empathy, diffusing tension and finding quick and effective solutions
• Operate various technology/POS systems
• Receive, store, or deliver luggage or mail according to local standard
• Make local recommendations for restaurants and entertainment based on a detailed understanding of the neighborhood
• Complete guest reservations, including cancellations, in person and via telephone/email
• Book entertainment and attractions as needed

Skills and Certifications:

• Must be able to complete daily responsibilities with little to no assistance.
• Must have computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be independent, with the ability to problem solve.
• Excellent interpersonal AND customer service skills, which include, written, verbal and listening.
• Punctual attendance; Seeking dependable professionals only.
• Organized, detail, and task oriented.
